The Foundation

Invest in a brighter future.
As we draw closer to the 100th anniversary of the National Forensic League, we are more aware than ever of the urgent need to increase our nation's communication skills and aptitude for critical thinking, careful listening, and thorough research.
Over the last decade, the League has ramped up its efforts to meet this important challenge. We've expanded our focus far beyond our National Tournament to bring a rich variety of programs and services to our teens, offer comprehensive teacher training resources, and play a stronger advocacy role in the larger educational community.
The momentum we've created has reinvigorated our organization from the inside out, and our growth has inspired us to dream bigger -- and bolder: We want every child in the country to have access to a speech and debate education that can change their lives and change the world.
We realize our goal is ambitious, and today we find ourselves at a true tipping point. We believe that we have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to make meaningful progress toward our ideal of giving all teens the skills they need to become the leaders we know they can be, students who follow in the footsteps of our accomplished alumni who came before them.
To catalyze our efforts, we have created the Foundation, which acts as the philanthropic arm of the League and provides the support necessary to fund the investments in technology, resources, and programs that will allow us to increase the impact and scope of our work.
While we are energized by the new Foundation, we know that it will only be as strong as its leaders. We need people who are passionate and commiteed to the League's idelas to join us in the groundbreaking chapter in our history.
Your support of the Foundation allows us to fulfill our commitment to creating powerful and positive outcomes for students today, as well as forge an enduring legacy that will ignite our work for years to come.
We invite you to help us create profound and lasting change. Contact our staff to learn more about how you can support the new Foundation.
