1. Terms

By accessing this web site, you are agreeing to be bound by these web site Terms and Conditions of Use, all applicable laws and regulations, and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site. The materials contained in this web site are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law. YOU MUST BE 13 YEARS OF AGE, OR HAVE A PARENT'S PERMISSION, TO USE THE SITE.

a.   Permission is granted to temporarily download one copy of the materials (information or software) on National Forensic League's web site for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:

Any claim relating to National Forensic League's web site shall be governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

9. Videos

Your National Forensic League membership and/or your username and password for this site may give you access to certain videos. The following licensing agreement applies to those videos, and shall supersede any conflicting language elsewhere in this document.

THIS LICENSE AGREEMENT is entered into by and between the National Forensic League and the user of this website. For valuable consideration, they hereby agree as follows:

Licensed Use: You are granted a non-exclusive right to use the videos in, and only in, the following circumstances:

A. Classroom showing as part of a regularly scheduled curricular class in speech, English, forensics, or debate in NFL member schools only.

B. Classroom showing as part of school sponsored NFL chapter meetings, practice sessions, or tournaments.

C. Classroom showing to school district administrators, teachers, school board members, or parents of NFL member schools.

Restrictions on Use: You agree to abide by the following restrictions on the use of the videos. You shall not:

A. Show, loan, or distribute the videos in any way to non-NFL members such as schools, students, parents, or administrators.

B. Publicly exhibit the videos including but not limited to public meetings, gatherings, and television or cable broadcasts.

C. Sell, rent, show, or otherwise distribute the videos for any monetary value or consideration.

D. Use the videos for any purpose other than those described in the above licensed use.

Ownership: Except as otherwise provided in this license agreement, you acknowledge that the NFL is the owner of all rights in the videos.

Termination: You agree that this license agreement will terminate automatically if you fail to comply with any of the terms of this license agreement, and on any such termination, the National Forensic League will cease to use any of the videos. Upon termination, User will immediately return all videos and copies to the NFL.

Breach: You agree to assume any and all liability resulting from your noncompliance with the terms of this license agreement.

Damages: You agree that in no event shall the NFL be liable for any special, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages in any way relating to the use, or arising out of the use, of the videos.

General: You acknowledge that they have read this license agreement, understand it, and agree to be bound by its terms.

Governing Law: This agreement and performance hereunder shall be governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin.

Please note that this procedure is exclusively for notifying the National Forensic League that your copyrighted material has been infringed.

  • A description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed upon;
